The book hit the stands this past week so here's another preview of the interior of the book. I had a blast working with Mike Johnson, and Michael Green and I think we had waaaaay too much fun creating all the mash up characters!
I picked it up and read it last week, Francis. It's magnificent. I don't know if there was any change in the art process between this and Origins and Omens but I feel like your pencils and ink wash technique translate even better with Superman/Batman 60. It looks amazing and the story is very intriguing too. Really can't wait for the next issue.
How long is this particular story arc and what do you move onto next?
Hey Francis, not sure if you're aware of the iFanboy site or not but they make quite a nice mention of you in their podcast episode #185. Thought you might be interested in checking it out. Here's a link: http://www.ifanboy.com/podcasts/audio/05_24_2009_-_Episode__185_-_Captain_America__50
hey thanks mike! as for process..well I got more confident adding more tones in superman batman. it did print kinda dark though so you can see a lot of it but hopefuly we can fix it up for the next issue. and thanks for that link I'll have to give it a listen.
I'm a comic book artist currently working on The Flash for DC Comics. I'm also one of the TV presenters on History Televisions "Beast Legends". My past work include books such as Adventure Comics, Superman/Batman, The Legion of Super-Heroes, Tomb Raider, Witchblade and many more!
